If you are using a custom border stroke object (for example, if you set the borderStroke property and are using a custom SolidColorStroke, LinearGradientStroke, or RadialGradientStroke object) you’ll need to set the weight property on the stroke instead of setting the borderWeight style on the border, as seen in the following example:
