jon,

Try cleaning the project. If that doesn't work, try creating a new Flex project and copy the files from the new /html-template/ folder into your old project's /html-template/ folder.

I've had this happen to me a few times, but thankfully it hasn't been very frequent.

Hi Peter,

I have been using Flex 3.1 so far, and just got the 3.3 sdk. However, when I select to use the 3.3, I get the warning message "Flex warning: because you have changed the options for the HTML wrapper or SDK version, all files in the "html-template" folder of your project will be overwritten and/or deleted", and now when I run my project, it tells me it cannot find the .html. How do I create the .html again? Thanks!

I'm new to flex, but I'm relatively sure I am capable of reading and following instructions however I can't seem to figure out how to add my new SDK as I do not see an "Add" button anywhere in Window>Preferences>Flex>Install Flex SDK's. The only buttons I see are Reset, Apply, OK, and Cancel. I can select between the two versions that are listed but that's about it. I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to Google up any similar results either. Any thoughts?

Thanks for any help and for this fantastic blog!

Peter, thank you for the fast response !

I was thinking just to add or replace swc libraries on the "Library path" in Flex Builder 2. I thought someone else here already tried this but, as soon as I'll have both builders and sdks on my machine I'll try it myself and leave the result here (just for the record :) ).

Thanks again !

Doru,

Although I haven't tried, I don't believe it is possible. I believe the ability to run multiple versions of the Flex SDK was added in Flex Builder 3.

However, you can have Flex Builder 2 and Flex Builder 3 installed at the same time (at least with the standalone installations, not sure about the Eclipse plugin version). Although, after a project has been imported into Flex Builder 3, I'm not sure if you can still open it in Flex Builder 2 (file format changes, etc).

Also note that you can install the Flex Builder 3 beta from Adobe Labs (see <a href="http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flex/flexbuilder3/" rel="nofollow">http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flex/flexbuilder3/</a>) and use your Flex Builder 2 serial number to extend the 60 day trial.
